California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

DriveTime detests the practice of human trafficking and slavery and supports the efforts to eradicate it. Because DriveTime is in the business of selling and financing used motor vehicles, DriveTime’s vehicle supply chain consists of motor vehicle dealerships, motor vehicle auction facilities and consumers who purchased the vehicles from the manufacturer. DriveTime checks the vehicle titles and works with reputable vendors. DriveTime also purchases replacement parts from manufacturers and suppliers to recondition the vehicles that it sells.

DriveTime obtains most of its replacement parts from the O’Reilly Auto Parts. O’Reilly represents that it sources its raw materials and other inputs with reputable companies that maintain high standards, and requires its suppliers, when signing a purchase order or contract, to certify that the supplier conducts business pursuant to the laws that prohibit slavery and human trafficking.

Because of the limited nature of DriveTime’s vehicle supply chain, its efforts to check titles and work with reputable vendors, and reliance on O’Reilly, DriveTime believes that it takes reasonable steps to verify the origin of the vehicles, and that its vehicle supply chain is free of products that are tainted by human trafficking and slavery.
